About the Role

Research Scientist role focused on advancing natural language processing and machine learning through data quality management, model building, and cross-functional collaboration. The position involves working with large datasets to improve customer experience and requires strong technical skills in coding and NLP.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of speech/language/other data throughout acquisition and processing stages
• Clean, analyze and select speech/language/other data to achieve goals
• Build and test models that elevate the customer experience
• Collaborate with colleagues from science, engineering and business backgrounds
• Present proposals and results backed by data with actionable conclusions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years of quantitative field research experience
• Experience investigating feasibility of applying scientific principles to business problems
• Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
• Experience with various machine learning techniques and parameters

Nice to Have:

• Experience building web based dashboards using common frameworks
• Experience with statistical modelling / machine learning
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns
