About the Role

Amazon seeks a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead safety initiatives and guide field teams in the North America Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team. This role involves evaluating fulfillment center performance, implementing best practices to improve reliability metrics, and optimizing equipment uptime and operational costs. The position requires extensive facilities maintenance expertise and data-driven leadership in a fast-paced fulfillment network.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety standards and drive team compliance
• Lead and mentor field-based Facilities Managers to expand Amazon's fulfillment network
• Oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning
• Monitor and audit maintenance execution and safety practices across sites
• Recruit and hire exceptional talent for Facilities Maintenance roles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• BS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or BS/BA with 4+ years maintenance experience or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Previous corporate/regional facilities roles leading 250+ employees including salaried staff
• Experience leading change in multiple site environments
• 7+ years experience managing employees and performance
• Ability to travel up to 80%

Nice to Have:

• MBA or other Masters degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Professional Engineering registration
• Strong knowledge of major MHE integrators
• Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, cost/benefit analysis
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and SQL
