About the Role

The Regional Maintenance Manager leads facilities maintenance across Amazon's North American fulfillment network, focusing on maximizing equipment uptime and implementing best practices. This senior role involves managing teams, overseeing budgets, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Extensive travel and relocation may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to field-based Facilities Managers
• Drive maintenance best practices and improve work methods for safety and efficiency
• Oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning
• Manage vendor relationships and leverage network scale for cost savings
• Recruit, interview, and hire talent for facilities maintenance roles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• BS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related, or BS/BA with 4+ years maintenance experience or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Previous corporate/regional facilities roles leading 250+ employees including salaried staff
• Experience leading change in multiple site environments
• 7+ years experience managing employees and performance, ability to travel up to 80%

Nice to Have:

• MBA or Masters degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Professional Engineering registration
• Strong knowledge of major MHE integrators and complex integrated systems maintenance
• Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, and statistical analysis
