About the Role

Principal Software Engineer role at Microsoft's Business & Industry Copilots group, working on the Microsoft 365 Agents platform. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software components and services
• Lead initiatives to deliver complex features and improve product quality
• Pioneer the use of state-of-the-art new technologies
• Lead code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices
• Work with Product Managers, Architects and UX Designers to design new features

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience
• Coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI or LLM/ML
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check and security screenings

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree in computer science or related field AND 8+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field AND 12+ years experience
