About the Role

Principal Software Engineer role focused on developing extensibility features for AI-powered employee self-service platforms. The position involves architecting solutions for Microsoft Copilot Studio and BizChat to enable seamless AI agent interactions with enterprise systems. This senior role requires expertise in full-stack systems, AI technologies, and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and partner across product teams to develop extensibility features in Microsoft AI products
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and Facilities stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Architect and implement extensibility features for AI agents to interact with enterprise systems
• Own delivery of key extensibility features including agent publishing and multi-agent architecture improvements
• Establish engineering best practices including CI/CD, telemetry, and quality assurance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience
• 6+ years experience designing, building, and managing high-scale full-stack systems
• Experience with authentication, microservices, distributed systems, data and analytics workloads
• Experience with AI, cloud-based architectural patterns and best practices

Nice to Have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience
