About the Role

Principal Program Manager role focused on eliminating inventory defects at Amazon through technology and cross-functional collaboration. The position involves strategic leadership, driving large-scale programs, and enhancing customer experience by making systems context-aware. Requires strong analytical skills, executive communication, and experience in retail/e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives to eliminate inventory defects and enhance customer experience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with program, technology, science, and operations teams to identify and address root causes
  • Lead large cross-functional programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Define and develop policies, business models, and technology-based solutions with product, tech, and science teams
  • Craft executive responses on inventory defects and anecdotes by collaborating with subject matter experts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Fulltime MBA with over 15+ years of experience, including minimum 5+ years managing projects interacting with customers/stakeholders
  • Technical background preferred (B.Tech/B.E.)
  • Hands-on experience in Retail, eCommerce, and supply chain functions
  • Proven history of delivering results while owning complex cross-functional launches partnering with central teams

Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Candidates preferred from top MBA colleges
  • Familiarity or experience with autonomous systems and machine learning
  • Entrepreneurial drive and proven ability to influence others
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills
