About the Role

Principal Group Engineering Manager role at Microsoft leading the core platform for Dynamics and Power Platform products. Responsibilities include designing distributed systems, leveraging AI in engineering workflows, and driving product improvements at global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of core platform components for Dynamics and Power Platform
• Leverage AI to reimagine engineering workflows from planning to deployment
• Identify and mitigate emerging trends or escalation scenarios through engineering solutions
• Drive product improvements by filing bugs, design changes, and fixes to prevent customer impact
• Build broad relationships with influencers to impact key business results

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 2+ years hands-on experience with AI primitives including RAG, evals, or fine tuning
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years

Nice to Have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 15+ years technical engineering experience
• 6+ years people management experience
