About the Role
Lead data strategy and architecture for Microsoft's global fintech platform, focusing on real-time analytics, predictive modeling, and scalable data pipelines. Drive innovation in payments experiences, optimize revenue management, and foster an inclusive team culture.Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers, promoting innovation and technical rigor
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and real-time analytics frameworks for checkout and payment systems
- Define KPIs and build predictive models to optimize funnel performance, reduce subscription churn, and detect transaction anomalies
- Establish robust data governance and quality standards across diverse sources
- Build systems that leverage anomaly detection and adaptive algorithms for autonomous commerce transactions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering work
- 3+ years of experience with payments data systems, checkout UX flows, funnel conversions, and subscription models
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to Have:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields
- 8+ years in data science roles with at least 3 years in technical leadership capacity
- Proven experience in real-time data processing, machine learning, and predictive analytics
