About the Role

Manager of Business Intelligence at Amazon's Returns & NCRC team, responsible for leading analytics functions to reduce costs and abuse while maintaining customer experience. The role involves setting strategy, building BI infrastructure, leading a team of analysts, and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, coach and lead a high-performance team of BIEs and business analysts
• Define and drive business intelligence and data visualization strategy & roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights for key business decisions
• Present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders using data-driven storytelling
• Define and govern key business metrics, build automated reports/dashboards/analytics self-serve capabilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
• 2+ years of managing a business intelligence or analytics team including employee development
• Experience with SQL, ETL
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with R, Python or other statistical/machine learning software

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
• 5+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components experience
• 5+ years of ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments experience
