About the Role

Lead a multidisciplinary squad in Microsoft Purview to build secure, scalable data governance and compliance solutions. Drive product vision, manage engineering teams, and ensure responsible AI practices across privacy, risk, and regulatory workflows. Foster collaboration across legal, engineering, and design to deliver transformative customer value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of Squad operating model for agility and measurable impact
• Own usage and customer delight to ensure products deliver transformative value
• Align internal and external partners around shared success and act as escalation point
• Identify and own cross-functional problem areas in compliance, data classification, and regulatory workflows
• Drive experimentation and telemetry-informed decisions to optimize experiences

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (design, product-market fit, launch, internal tools/frameworks)
• 6+ years people management experience
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices

Nice to Have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience
• 8+ years people management experience
• Technical fluency in data classification, information protection, security & compliance architecture, or Azure-based data services
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST)
• Prior experience working on Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Compliance Manager, Insider Risk, DLP, or related platforms
