About the Role

Lead Fulfillment Associate performs various roles within Amazon fulfillment centers including Trainer, Process Assistant, and Shipping Clerk. Responsibilities include production duties like pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, and communicating instructions to other associates while maintaining safety standards. The role requires flexibility with schedules and physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production duties including pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy
  • Communicate instructions to other associates and motivate team members
  • Maintain work area safety and follow safety protocols
  • Support daily management of department duties including allocating labor and leading meetings
  • Coordinate with carriers, corporate transportation groups, and internal departments

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent education
  • Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during 12-hour shifts, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Nice to Have:

  • Completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others
  • 1+ year experience in manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail environment
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
