About the Role

Junior Growth Data Analyst role at Bitfinex focusing on analyzing user data to drive marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of analytical dashboards for metrics and KPIs across campaigns, user funnels, and product performance.
• Analyze large user and event datasets (Amplitude, Looker, SQL) to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Identify and explain drivers of acquisition, activation, and retention through data storytelling and cohort analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure data integrity, event tracking consistency, and reliable measurement frameworks.
• Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for marketing and leadership teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data management within the financial services industry
• Proficiency with a product analytics tool, e.g Amplitude/ MixPanel, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and SQL for behavioral and funnel analysis.
• Working knowledge of Ad platforms such as Meta, X. Good understanding of marketing attribution.
• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and first-party data integrations between marketing and backend systems.
• Skilled at building KPI dashboards and cohort reports; ability to translate data into clear insights and business impact.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting tracking pixels, event schemas, and UTM structures across multiple channels.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with blockchain, crypto exchanges, and user acquisition KPIs, such as deposits, trading volume, is a strong plus.
• Light Python / SQL experience is a plus.
