About the Role

The Global Operations Analytics Engineer develops AI-driven analytics and automation solutions to optimize Meta's global data center operations. This role translates business challenges into actionable AI requirements and builds predictive models to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. It involves significant travel and collaboration across teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into actionable requirements for AI-enabled solutions
• Design, build, and implement AI-driven automation solutions for operational insights
• Develop and deploy solutions to identify and address operational bottlenecks with automation
• Build robust predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Create scalable automation mechanisms to proactively monitor and report on operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Management Science) or commensurate experience
• 7+ years of experience in analytics, engineering, use of AI, and/or workflow automation for business improvement
• 7+ years of SQL development experience writing queries, R or Python
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and automation tools/platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a large-scale data center environment
• Leadership and/or team management experience
• Experience designing measurement systems to assess large scale performance
