About the Role

Frontend Engineer role at Guac, a startup using ML to reduce grocery food waste through demand forecasting. Build customer-facing web applications with React/Next.js/TypeScript and optionally develop React Native mobile apps. Work on complex data interfaces for major supermarket chains.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance customer-facing features using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Develop complex, data-intensive interfaces for grocery chain operations
• Implement robust state management and real-time synchronization patterns
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs
• Develop and maintain React Native mobile application

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of frontend engineering experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong proficiency in modern React patterns, state management, and performance optimization
• Experience building complex, data-heavy web applications
• Strong understanding of API integration and working with backend services

Nice to Have:

• React Native experience and familiarity with mobile development patterns
• Exceptional web developers eager to learn mobile development
