About the Role

Front End Engineer role at Salient, an AI workflow automation tool for lenders. Build intuitive interfaces for a cutting-edge AI financial SaaS platform, working closely with product and AI engineers. Requires 4+ years of experience and in-person work in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with product and AI engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Build reusable UI components and establish front-end architecture patterns
• Implement data visualizations to present complex financial information clearly and intuitively
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern front-end tooling
• Strong understanding of CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
• 4 days in-person in San Francisco

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the finance or fintech industry
