About the Role

The Engineering Operations Technician maintains data center facilities to ensure high availability and reliability exceeding 99.999% uptime. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems while supporting new and existing data centers with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
• Monitor and troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, chiller systems and generators
• Perform site walkthroughs to verify proper operation of facility equipment and monitoring systems
• Provide assistance to contractors or data center engineers for equipment deployment and maintenance
• Act as facilities first responder to critical events and support incident management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Ability to solve problems through root-cause elimination
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving complex issues
• Ability to follow procedures and system documentation

Nice to Have:

• Experience in data center engineering
