About the Role

Yassir is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their engineering department and build great products for their super app in French-speaking Africa. The role involves managing development teams, overseeing infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and coordinating with external partners. This position requires extensive experience with cloud technologies and both front-end and back-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects
• Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements
• Ensure compliance with security regulations
• Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines
• Design strategies for future development projects based on company objectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Work experience as an engineering manager or similar senior-level position
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces
• Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
• Good understanding of agile methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing remote teams
