About the Role

The Delivery Consultant role at AWS Professional Services involves designing, implementing, and managing GenAI/ML solutions on AWS for customers. You will provide technical guidance, act as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies, and ensure successful cloud adoption through migration strategies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and build complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models on AWS tailored to customer needs
• Provide technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery with focus on AWS AI/ML services
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (java, python, etc.)
• PhD or Masters of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
• 5+ years of experience hosting and deploying GenAI/ML solutions or/and Data Science Experience
• 5+ years of coding, data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python)

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of AWS platform and tools or equivalent cloud experience with proficiency in AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, etc.)
• AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Specialty)
• Hands on experience with deep learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer), machine learning, CV, GNN, or distributed training
• Experience with coding, automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
