About the Role

The Delivery Consultant - Data Engineer role involves designing and implementing AWS solutions for federal customers, providing technical guidance, and acting as a trusted advisor. It requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and focuses on data engineering and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT tools, data engineering, and large-scale data manipulation using technologies like Spark, EMR, Hive, Kafka, and Redshift
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice to Have:

  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
