About the Role

The Delivery Consultant - Data & Analytics role at AWS Professional Services involves designing and implementing complex AWS solutions for customers, providing technical guidance throughout project delivery, and acting as a trusted advisor on cloud technologies. This position requires deep expertise in AWS products and services to help customers migrate and optimize their data and analytics workloads on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
• 3+ years of database experience (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)
• Hands-on experience in developing scalable data ingestion and engineering pipelines using Apache Spark, Python, and/or Scala

Nice to Have:

• AWS Experience and Certifications, including implementation of cloud-based Data and Analytics solutions
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and practical applications
