About the Role

This role is for a Data Scientist in the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, focusing on designing and implementing generative AI solutions for customers. The position involves collaborating with AI/ML teams, interacting directly with clients, and contributing to cutting-edge projects. It includes initial intensive training through the A2C program and requires Emirati nationality.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI/ML scientists, engineers, and architects to research, design, develop, and evaluate cutting-edge generative AI algorithms
• Interact with customers directly to understand business problems, aid in implementation of generative AI solutions, and guide adoption patterns
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations for stakeholders
• Provide customer and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help define product direction
• Design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize risk, profitability, and customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD or Master's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience building a range of AI/ML models
• Experience in areas such as algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing, neural deep learning methods, or machine learning
• Emirati nationality

Nice to Have:

• Experience in using Python and hands-on experience building models with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, MXNet
• Prior experience in training and fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Knowledge of AWS platform and tools
