About the Role

Design and build sophisticated data infrastructure to transform massive datasets into insights that drive Amazon's advertising innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions supporting business intelligence and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust analytical data infrastructure
  • Manage and optimize cloud resources across multiple AWS services
  • Extract, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources
  • Explore emerging technologies to enhance data processing capabilities
  • Collaborate with data scientists and BI experts to develop reporting solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of data engineering experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, etc.)
  • Experience with non-relational databases / data stores
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR)
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices and full SDLC
  • Knowledge of distributed systems for data storage and computing
  • Experience building/operating highly available distributed data systems
