About the Role

Data Engineer at Meta designs and builds extensive data sets to shape product experiences for billions of users. Responsibilities include data architecture, ETL, modeling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and own data architecture for large-scale projects
• Design, build, and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations
• Solve data integration problems using optimal ETL patterns and frameworks
• Define and manage Service Level Agreements for data sets
• Mentor team members and provide actionable feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant technical field
• 4+ years of experience in data roles (e.g., data analyst, data engineer, data scientist)
• 4+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Scala)

Nice to Have:

• Master's or Ph.D degree in a STEM field
