About the Role

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for AWS Just Walk Out's checkout-free shopping analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and implement robust data architectures. Lead data platform evolution and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant data pipelines
• Implement automated data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across the data lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define and implement data architectures
• Lead the evolution of the data platform and implement data governance policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
