About the Role

This role is a SOC Analyst / Data Center Security Specialist responsible for real-time monitoring, detection, analysis, and response to physical security incidents in AWS data centers. The specialist will support security device troubleshooting and programming for access control and CCTV systems across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor security events from SIEM systems (logs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, access control, CCTV)
  • Identify anomalies, suspicious patterns, or Indicators of Compromise across data center networks and systems
  • Perform in-depth investigations of potential security incidents through log analysis, forensic data review, and network traffic analysis
  • Enhance monitoring coverage and detection capabilities by tuning rules and creating new correlation scenarios
  • Collaborate with network, system, data center operations, and physical security teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 1 to 3 years in a SOC, cybersecurity operations, or data center environment
  • Configuration of security devices including cameras, readers and panels
  • Strong customer obsession, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing a chat queue and trouble tickets
  • An understanding of how to configure physical security devices including cameras, readers, and panels
  • Experience working in a data centre environment
  • Experience in working in a SOC environment
  • Certification for Lenel Onguard programming
