About the Role

The Data Center Infrastructure Engineer supports AWS global infrastructure by maintaining data center operations, including hardware troubleshooting, capacity management, and cabling. Responsibilities include ensuring service level agreements, improving operational efficiency, and collaborating across teams. This role requires hands-on technical skills in hardware and networking within a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Office hours duty in data center operations
• Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
• Run rack to rack cabling include fiber and copper cables upon Amazon standards
• Innovate and contribute from day to day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency
• Assist Hardware Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have:

• 1+ years of data center experience
• Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
• Experience summarizing and communicating important data
