About the Role

Responsibilities include developing ML/GenAI models, evaluating AI solutions, and using AI-powered tools to accelerate tasks.Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to formulate business needs into manageable problems with measurable objectives
- Transform problems into implementation plans using appropriate methods and tools to deliver valid results
- Write robust, reusable code to support analysis and modeling
- Develop new ML or GenAI models using advanced statistical and ML techniques
- Lead evaluation of GenAI solutions, diagnosing issues and identifying root causes for fixes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field with 5+ years experience, or Master's with 4+ years, or Doctorate with 3+ years
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and LLMs
- Experience in Spark, ability to write/maintain declarative Spark code and clean SQL
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years
Nice to Have:
- Build and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines and GenAI solutions for batch and real-time use cases
- Apply MLOps and AIOps best practices including model versioning, experiment tracking, and CI/CD automation on cloud platforms
- Manage environment dependencies and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for reproducible deployments
- Exposure to ETL pipelining frameworks like Azure Data Factory or Apache Airflow
- Expertise in designing and implementing Generative AI pipelines (e.g., RAG systems, fine-tuning)
