About the Role

Join Amazon's Computer Vision team in Melbourne to develop generative AI models that transform e-commerce experiences. You'll work with senior scientists to create next-generation media content for emerging markets using vast Amazon data and cloud resources. This role involves building, training, and evaluating AI models while publishing research at top conferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, train and evaluate generative AI models tailored to business use cases

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience programming or scripting language like Python, Java, C or C++
• Have publications on top-tier conferences, such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV or NeurIPS
• Masters in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code
• Experience researching about machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
