About the Role

The Cloud Solution Architect role focuses on application modernization and migration, providing hands-on technical expertise to help customers accelerate business value using Microsoft Cloud and AI. Responsibilities include designing, building, and resolving production issues while influencing product strategy through customer engagement. This senior technical position involves working directly with strategic customers and developing reusable IP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and resolve production issues to remove customer blockers
• Work directly with strategic customers on challenging technical projects
• Develop reusable IP and technology assets for customers and partners
• Influence company strategy by engaging with customers and identifying trends
• Enable account and field teams through internal enablement programs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience
• 4+ years experience in cloud/application/database technologies, IT consulting/support, application development, database administration, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, DevOps, architecture, developing repeatable assets, consulting OR equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms including cloud architecture, deployment, and management
• Working knowledge of software development environments (e.g., Visual Studio, VSCode), DevOps and build/release processes (e.g., Git, CI/CD), container building/deployment, and IaC templates with Bicep or Terraform

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business AND 8+ years experience OR Master's Degree AND 6+ years experience OR equivalent experience
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google, security certifications)
• 7+ years experience leading technical projects and 6+ years in customer-facing roles
• Experience with AI in software development (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
