About the Role

Cloud Solution Architect for App Innovation at Microsoft, responsible for technical leadership and architecture design for high-potential customers. This customer-facing role involves developing cloud solutions, engaging with customers on their cloud adoption journey, and collaborating across teams to deliver Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: lead technical strategy and architecture discussions with customers
• Solution Development: develop detailed proposals and plans for cloud service consumption and deployment
• Customer Engagement: understand business objectives and provide expert guidance throughout cloud adoption
• Technical Architecture: design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient architectures within Azure
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with sales, engineering, and support teams for seamless customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, Business or related field
• 9+ years experience in cloud technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, or related fields
• Experience building and deploying complex large-scale solutions on cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages like .NET, Java, Python

Nice to Have:

• Business Value: ability to convey business needs and value of proposed solutions to stakeholders
• Trusted Advisership: ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships with stakeholders
• Several years of experience working in a customer-facing role
• Several years of experience leading technical projects
• Certifications in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google), CKA, CKAD
