About the Role

Abacus Insights seeks a Business and Data Analyst with 5+ years of healthcare administration software experience to join the Client Solutions team. The role involves decomposing requirements, producing design documentation, and analyzing data to support client implementations and business value realization. Responsibilities include consulting engagements, process analysis, and translating concepts between business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in consulting engagements with clients to improve operational performance and identify complementary solutions
  • Analyze business requests and develop business requirements and systemic solutions using healthcare data expertise
  • Develop designs for modifications to or new components of the Abacus Insights Platform
  • Conduct process analysis, evaluation, and implement process improvements
  • Analyze data/reports to validate quality, identify trends, highlight patterns, and summarize findings

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience/training
  • Experience with SQL, Databricks, and/or Snowflake
  • 5+ years of experience working with Healthcare Administration software and associated data sets
  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation

  • Strong commitment to remaining current on market needs through education, reading, networking, and professional organizations
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external departments to position products competitively for market and client needs
