About the Role

The Business Analyst will join the AWS Global Network Delivery team to drive data center and network capacity deployment efficiencies through metrics, reports, and insights. Responsibilities include designing performance management models, scaling data processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Interfacing with business customers to gather requirements and develop complex analytics models
• Identifying data quality issues across various platforms at Amazon Web Services
• Extracting and combining data from heterogeneous data sources
• Building statistical models and ML-based algorithms for insight analysis and decision making
• Proposing and implementing new business metrics for senior management reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
• 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with SQL
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, EMR and RDS
