About the Role
Polymath Robotics is seeking a Build & DevOps Engineer to ensure reliable, secure, and automated software delivery for autonomous vehicles. The role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating build and release workflows, and developing internal tools for deployment and testing. You'll work in a hybrid environment with a focus on open-source robotics and developer productivity.Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Buildkite, or similar)
- Automate build, test, and release workflows for ROS and Linux targets
- Develop internal tools for deployment, testing, and integration
- Enforce good security practices for internal and external builds
- Extend automated self-test and integration testing for software releases
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, build systems, or software tooling roles
- Proficiency with Linux development environments
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and container tooling
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with ROS build systems (colcon, catkin)
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools
- Passion for automation and developer productivity
