About the Role

The Business Intelligence Engineering Manager leads data innovation and business strategy across Amazon's global IT operations. This role oversees development of critical data assets, manages extensive data ecosystems, and drives enterprise-scale BI solutions while embodying Amazon's Leadership Principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee development and maintenance of critical data assets serving multiple business units
• Manage extensive data ecosystem including data warehouses, data lakes, and AWS services
• Architect enterprise-scale BI solutions driving substantial business value
• Develop comprehensive technical roadmaps and ensure operational readiness
• Establish robust data quality frameworks and standardize processes for efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
• 5+ years of managing a business intelligence or analytics team including employee development
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with ETL
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Nice to Have:

• 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
• 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, and infrastructure components experience
• Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
