About the Role

The Applied Scientist role focuses on developing and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance customer service experiences using GenAI, ML, and NLP. Responsibilities include designing scalable AI models, analyzing data for insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems like conversational assistants
  • Implement novel algorithms and modeling solutions with scientists and engineers
  • Analyze data and define metrics to measure customer experience improvements
  • Communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences through reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize models in production

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of building models for business application experience
  • Master's degree in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields

Nice to Have:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or related quantitative field
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying GenAI applications like language models
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
