About the Role

The Applied Scientist role on the Artificial General Intelligence team focuses on advancing multimodal systems using generative AI and computer vision. You will develop algorithms and modeling techniques to create industry-leading technology that impacts customer products and services. The position involves leveraging large-scale computing resources to accelerate development with multimodal LLMs and GenAI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms and modeling techniques for multimodal systems
• Advance state-of-the-art vision and language technology
• Work with generative AI and multimodal Large Language Models
• Leverage large-scale computing resources for development acceleration
• Impact customer products and services through applied research

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field
• 1+ years of building models for business applications
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Nice to Have:

• PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering or related fields
• Experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, MxNet)
• Research publications in computer vision, deep learning or machine learning
• Experience with multimodal LLMs and GenAI in Computer Vision (image and video domains)
