About the Role

Lead the design and development of scalable AI automation systems for Prime Video's operations. Tackle complex problems by building agentic AI and ML solutions from the ground up. Mentor other scientists and drive technical strategy to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of scalable, available, resilient services for AI automation platform
• Write high-quality, maintainable code to solve complex business problems
• Act as technical leader and mentor for other engineers on the team
• Work through ambiguous requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Own full software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of building models for business application experience
• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing

• Experience using Unix/Linux
• Experience in professional software development
