About the Role

Lead a science team to develop AI solutions for Prime Video's recommendation and personalization systems. Work closely with engineering and product teams to design, implement, and launch AI solutions end-to-end. Hire and grow a team focused on enhancing personalized customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead to develop AI solutions for various Prime Video recommendation and personalization systems using Deep learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, recommendation system and optimization methods
• Work closely with engineers and product managers to design, implement and launch AI solutions end-to-end
• Effectively communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and the latest modeling techniques in the field
• Hire and grow a science team working in this exciting video personalization domain

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
• 4+ years of applied research experience
• 3+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of building large-scale machine-learning infrastructure for online recommendation, ads ranking, personalization or search experience
