About the Role

The Applied AI Architect role involves designing and building generative AI solutions using Amazon Nova Foundation Models and AWS Bedrock. This position works directly with customers to implement durable GenAI systems and serves as a bridge between FM science teams and internal Amazon teams. The architect will drive architectural discussions, create customer-facing content, and share best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications with Amazon Nova FM's, AWS Bedrock, and other AWS GenAI capabilities
• Interact with customers directly to understand business problems and help implement durable GenAI systems
• Drive evaluation strategy, metric design, and evaluation data design for real-world use cases
• Drive deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create solutions built with Amazon Nova FM's
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, workshops, demos and proof of concepts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
