About the Role

This is an AI Research Scientist Intern role focusing on 3D computer vision and graphics at Meta Reality Labs. The intern will develop algorithms for neural rendering and reconstruction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and publish research. The position requires a PhD student with publications in top conferences and experience in deep learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceive and develop 3D computer vision and generative imaging algorithms
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers from various technical backgrounds
  • Publish research results in top-tier journals and conferences

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a PhD in deep learning, computer vision, computer graphics, or related fields
  • Proven track record with first-authored publications in SIGGRAPH, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML
  • 2+ years experience with deep learning software libraries such as PyTorch
  • Must obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment

Nice to Have:

  • Machine learning experience in diffusion models, neural 3D reconstruction, neural rendering, view synthesis, computational photography
  • Broad understanding of XR technology stack including camera systems, graphics, near-eye displays, and perceptual effects
  • Experience deploying machine vision and rendering algorithms in entertainment production pipelines
  • Past experience with cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
  • Intent to return to degree-program after internship
