About the Role

This role is an AI Platform Data Engineer focused on building AI-powered data platforms and agentic AI solutions. The engineer will design and implement data pipelines, curated datasets, and self-service platforms using AI-first development methodologies. They will partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and support AI/ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI-assisted stakeholder engagement sessions across business verticals
• Design and build curated datasets using AI code generation and Agentic AI tools
• Build and maintain data pipelines with AI-assisted development on AWS and internal tools
• Implement AI-powered self-service platforms with natural language interfaces
• Create intelligent governance systems for data classification, PII detection, and lineage tracking

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Knowledge of distributed systems for data storage and computing
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices and full software development life cycle
• Extensive hands-on experience with Gen AI enhanced development pipelines, AI coding assistants, and prompt engineering
• Demonstrated track record of building AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-powered automation tools

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles
• Experience with non-relational databases or data stores (object storage, document, key-value, graph, column-family databases)
