About the Role

AI Engineer role enhancing Office productivity with AI-driven experiences and services. Build core platforms integrating large language models into Office apps, focusing on production engineering, APIs, data pipelines, and model deployment. Collaborate with teams to translate product needs into ML solutions and scale AI features globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Ship features with PM & Engineering, translating product requirements into productionized solutions
• Apply generative AI and LLM knowledge to develop intelligent features and automation
• Deploy and integrate AI-powered solutions within Azure ecosystem ensuring security and scalability
• Stay current with advances in generative AI and software engineering, sharing knowledge with colleagues
• Build APIs, platforms, services, data pipelines, and monitor AI-specific signals like drift and hallucinations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline OR equivalent experience
• Proven coding experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• AI/ML skills with hands-on experience in generative AI or ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
• Solid understanding of LLM concepts, embeddings, and prompt engineering

Nice to Have:

• 1+ years experience designing and running large-scale global infrastructure systems
• Experience deploying AI models into production and building automated monitoring/retraining systems
• Passion for mentoring others and contributing to an inclusive team culture
