About the Role

Amazon seeks an AI Content Expert II to create and annotate complex multimodal training data for LLMs, requiring high judgment and adherence to guidelines. This 12-month contract role involves working with scientists and engineers to improve data quality and tooling. The position demands strong writing skills, attention to detail, and flexibility in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and annotating high-quality complex training data in multiple modalities (text, image, video)
• Writing grammatically correct texts in different styles with various degrees of creativity
• Performing audits and quality checks of tasks completed by other specialists
• Making sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
• Identifying and reporting tooling bugs and suggesting improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ yrs of experience working with written language data, including annotation and data markup
• Strong research skills to gather relevant information, understand complex topics, and synthesize multiple resources
• Excellent attention to details and ability to focus for a long period of time

Nice to Have:

• Strong proficiency in English (C1 level in CEFR scale)
• Experience with creating complex data for LLM training and evaluation
• Familiarity with common markup languages such as HTML, XML, Markdown
