About the Role

The Actuarial Manager Analyst at Amazon One Medical is responsible for actuarial analysis of Medicare Advantage and ACO data, designing and implementing a monthly reserving process for Total Medical Expense estimation, and leading continuous evaluation of TME performance. This role involves medical economics reporting, risk score projections, and coordinating with finance for forecasting and planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of Medicare Advantage and Accountable Care Organization data
• Design and implement an actuarially sound monthly reserving process for Total Medical Expense estimation
• Lead continuous evaluation of TME performance compared to plan expectations
• Coordinate with finance team on future TME projections for forecasting and planning
• Support month-end financial and accounting processes for actuarial estimates

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 6+ years of data scientist experience
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
• Experience with Medicare or Medicare Advantage products
• Bachelor's degree required

Nice to Have:

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Business
• Experience in value-based care, including CMS initiatives such as MSSP and ACO REACH
